and
2. Make sure you online profile is filled completely out AND updated. If your availability changes, update your profile to reflect that.

Thanks to the nearly 1,000 people that showed up on Monday! What an incredible call with so many talented people showing up!

Good thing we had 16 wonderful professionals running the open call. They made the process efficient and kept things organized, even during the crowded times.

We’ve heard from many who were very thankful the casting assistants took the time to get to know a little about each person before auditioning.

It’s going to be so hard making choices!

  1. Hello,

Unfortunately I was unable to make the call…are you still in need of background or extras on this project? I am local and available and would love to send my resume and pics for review.
    Warmly,

    Leah S Gosnell

  2. If you attended the open call DOUBLE check that you have a filled out online profile. We are finding some people who did not complete that step and if casting can’t match you with your online profile they will just skip you and go to the next person. DON”T let that happen!

    • What if you got an email saying you had a few things to update or what not…does that mean you don’t have a chance anymore? :/

      • No, it mean most likely they looked at your profile and it’s not complete. If you can’t fill out any more info, that’s fine. Mostly they found non-working links to profiles, Facebook, pictures, and resumes.

  3. Hello –

I’m interested in becoming a part of the crew. What position’s are available for the film. My experience is Make-up, and management.

    Thanks,

    Rhoda

  4. Sharon again. There was a very nice and pleasant casting assistant who helped me at the casting call, however I don’t think the information was correctly collected. My zip code is x and my email is x@x. I really do want to be considered for VIV and if there is an issue with the registration form that would prevent this from happening, I want to get it cleared up as soon as possible.

    Thanks so much,
    Sharon J. x

  5. I just hope all of my information got registered along with my photos and resume’. Please let me know if you need anything else. Anything at all !!! my cell number is 804-x-x. Thanks so much.

  6. At registration Monday, I understood that I would get an email with the rest of the registration questions but never did. I left my three pictures plus one of a car for consideration in the party sceen. Was this all that was required for the casting call? Thanks.

    • If you signed up on the computer there you should have gotten the email with the link to fill out the rest within a few minutes. If you didn’t get the email, go directly here and just fill out the info with the star by it. That should give you a new account OR resend the link to your current account.

  7. Thank you so much for the opportunity. I was wondering when will we know if we have a part or not? Sorry I am just really excited about this haha.
I hope you have a wonderful day and I hope to hear from you soon 🙂

  8. Vamp’s are cool. A dear friend of mine played a vampire on the CW in “The Vampire Diaries” He was Frederick and had a hoot playing the role.
