Mail Submissions

UPDATE: Mailed submissions are no longer being accepted. Film has wrapped.

Thank you to everyone who submitted!

2. If only mailing H/R, use a PLAIN envelope (9×12 is best, color doesn’t matter). Specifically, do NOT send in a windowed envelope.

3. If mailing a H/R with CD/DVD or a USB drive, use a BUBBLE envelope. (9×12 is best, color doesn’t matter). Specifically, do NOT send in a windowed envelope.

UPDATE:

Thank you to all who came out. It was nice putting some new faces to emails and resumes. If you are interested in being part of the project, make sure to fill out our form so we can notify you when we crew up. Click here.

Vampires in Virginia, a feature film slated for theaters, will be holding it’s ONLY open call on June 9th, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Regency Mall, 1420 N Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. In the center of the mall between the escalators.

Although this call is focused on the actors, we are eager to meet crew folks as well. So, if you are ONLY interested in a crew position you are welcome to come early (1:15 p.m.) so we can meet you. (You are also welcome to come by anytime during the call, just know that there might be a big line of people in front of you).

NOTE: You are NOT required to come. It’s just an added bonus to be able to connect a person with an online registration form.

More information:
There will be two lines, one line to register and then another line where we can actually meet you. You need to pre-register by clicking on the crew link and filling out the form here. That way you don’t have to go to the register line. Bring a business card, resume, and or equipment list to the call that we can match up to your online registration.

Thanks to the nearly 1,000 people that showed up on Monday! What an incredible call with so many talented people showing up!

Good thing we had 16 wonderful professionals running the open call. They made the process efficient and kept things organized, even during the crowded times.

We’ve heard from many who were very thankful the casting assistants took the time to get to know a little about each person before auditioning.

It’s going to be so hard making choices!
